The Waiarjipa Homestead is a small and private, centrally situated, life style block and homestead. We have two self contained units sleeping up to six and four respectively, each with its own fully equipped kitchen and its own bathroom/toilet. We also do bed and breakfast. The homestead is very handy to the NZ Kennel Club grounds, airport and motorway. We also have a petting farm, a safe garden for the kids, barbeque area and secure parking. There are a number of small shops 2mins walk in Drury and Papakura itself is 6mins drive away. Dogs must be kept under control around farm animals and dogs droppings must be picked up and disposed of. Dogs are allowed inside on their own blanket or basket and there is plenty of room to exercise the dog off leash. Forest Lodge, set in a quiet country village surrounded by native bush can accommodate around 50 guests in their lodge, cottages and motel unit. Coopers Beach Retreat is private and quiet. It's two units; Black Bach and Tui Cottage host spectacular panoramic views across gardens, beach and Doubtless Bay. Beachfront Estate Wairoro Park - At Wairoro Park there are 3 cottages which each sleep 2 people and 1 luxury chalet which sleeps 5. Guests have the luxury of a private beach, quiet and private bushwalks, badminton, table tennis and TV (Sky TV in the chalet).

Redwood Lodge is situated rurally just 8km from Otorohanga and 15km from Waitomo Caves. Guests are accommodated in three queen rooms and one king/twin roon, all with with ensuite. Should you require it, two of the queen rooms have fold out sofas. This beautiful Homestay also has ten dog kennels and a cattery which are free for your dog if you are a guest at the lodge. Dogs must be vaccinated, have current registration on collar, wormed and had recent flea treatment. Our quiet country lane has great grass verges which are ideal for dog walking.

Himatangi Beach Holiday Park is situated next to the lovely west coast Himatangi Beach and the forest giving dog lovers excellent dog walking beach and forest options. All sites have power & water, with cabins to suit all budgets. Ferry Man's Cottage is a luxury solid timber cottage on the edge of a small lake, 2km from the highway. It enjoys panoramic mountain and ocean views and an abundance of native birdlife. It has 2 spacious bedrooms (1qu, 1spkg db/2s) and a double sleep sofa in the lounge (porta cot avail.), a fully equipped kitchen and laundry. The bedrooms have radiators and electric blankets, the bathroom has underfloor heating and there is a woodburner in the lounge. A quality homestyle meal using locally sourced produce can be provided in the cottage or alternatively lodge dinners are available at nearby Birds Ferry Lodge. Decks and outdoor furniture allow you to enjoy the fantastic views and there is an outdoor bath with hot running water from where you can watch the sun go down in spectacular fashion. Additional facilities include TV, DVD and CD players, games and magazines.

Dogs are welcome but due to the native birdlife, dog control must be discussed with your hosts PRIOR to booking.
